Barolo, Italy, 10 October 2024Gufram is delighted to announce new additions to the Guframini family, the special collection of miniatures celebrating the brand’s most recognisable icons: the new colour variations of the Bocca® Unlimited and the introduction of the new Capitello® miniatures, originally designed by Studio 65.

The miniatures of Bocca® Unlimited are now available in the five new colour versions: Artic, Blue, Grass, Ivory, Pumpkin and Yellow - which reflects the colour palette of the original Bocca® Unlimited, the latest version of Bocca® sofa created in 2020 to celebrate its 50th anniversary.

Bocca® Unlimited is an open edition of 25 colours that dye its sinuous shapes, covered in a new, more tactile and structured fabric, made from a special wool yarn that ensures a natural feel and enhances the sofa’s aesthetics through a unique colour effect.

A masterpiece destined to become a cult. Created by Studio 65 in 1970, the sofa's playful form and bold colours reflect both the impact of surrealism and the Pop Art movement of the 1960s, while maintaining a timeless sense of personality and versatility that make it one of Gufram’s most popular pieces to this day. An enduring symbol of Italian Radical Design, Bocca® is an exquisite favourite of design enthusiasts and collectors around the world. Exactly like the original size, Guframino Bocca® Unlimited consists of a pair of subtly asymmetric lips, with a unique, playful, sensual, and provocative design.

The new Guframini Bocca® Unlimited will be available exclusively at Mohd's online shop shop.mohd.it until December 2024.

Inspired by the Erechtheion of the Acropolis of Athens, the Capitello® armchair embodies Gufram's ironic concept, where the aesthetics that mimic the Pentelic marble of the Parthenon contrast with the softness and lightness of polyurethane. Designed by Studio 65 and entirely hand-finished with a texture that precisely recalls stone, Capitello® is a contemporary archaeological artefact, a faithful reproduction of an Ionic volute that adds the function of providing rest and relaxation to its aesthetic.

Just like in the original version, the classical forms of the Guframino Capitello® make this piece a true domestic sculpture, whose value extends beyond mere decoration.

Like the full-sized Bocca® Unlimited and Capitello®, the new Guframini pieces are made of polyurethane foam, resulting in a unique piece with the same softness and details as the original dimensions.

Icons of Radical Contemporary Design in 1:8 scale, the Guframini family includes: Cactus®, Bocca®, Pratone®, GOD, Broken Mirror®, and the miniature version of Shroom CACTUS® by A$AP Rocky.

Size doesn't always matter!
